🎓 How to use the Work Hours Logger
Enter a task description (e.g. “Homepage redesign”), select or create a project, and enter your hourly rate. The rate can be 0 if you’re just tracking time without billing.
Press Start Timer. The clock runs in real time and shows your live earnings based on your hourly rate. You can pause and resume at any time.
Press Stop & Save when you finish the task. The entry is saved to your log below showing date, duration, and earnings.
Already worked and forgot to start the timer? Click “Add manual entry” to enter a date, start/end time, or just a duration in hours.
Use the filters to view entries by project or time period (today, this week, this month). Totals update automatically to match your filter.
Press Export CSV to download a spreadsheet of all your entries. Open it in Excel or Google Sheets to create an invoice or send directly to a client.
All time entries are saved in your browser’s local storage. No account needed. No data is ever sent to any server. This means: clearing browser data erases your log, and switching browsers or devices will show an empty log. Export CSV regularly to back up your data.
